Good morning gentle readers! I hope everyone is taking good care of themselves and getting plenty of rest. Remember, your body is a machine and you want it to run well for as long as possible.
Anonymous has a question for me today:
“If you could change one rule in the Mailgirl code, which rule would you change and why?”
Interesting question Anonymous. That is something I could never dream to have the power of doing. We Mailgirls would have to form a labor union or something before Mail Girl Enterprises caved in to something like that. LOL. “Naked Office Workers Local 69” anyone?
But like any job there are things I would like to change about this one, but I recognize there would be ramifications if changes were made; Like it would be nice that if an employee was caught having sex with me that they not be immediately fired. Most times I was the one who initiated that contact. They were doing me a favor because my body has needs. I invited them. You don’t fire an office worker for clearing a paper jam from the printer, why should they get fired for helping the Mailgirl orgasm?
But there is always a dark side to that change. That is only a step away from making sex with Mailgirl’s compulsive. I would not want to lose my ability to chose. I’ve worked in places where I was forced into those situations. While I did what I did mostly out of my free will there was a certain amount of pressure. If I was a different woman I would not have handled it so well.
So maybe a change in uniform? I know a lot of Mailgirls would like to have a little more hair downstairs. But we shave or wax that for sanitary concerns. Same reason Mailgirls can’t use the furniture. So I can’t really think of a change in uniform. Nudity is what makes my job special and I would not want to lose that. Plus it’s taken so many years for my body to tighten up in all the right places, it would be a shame for everybody not to enjoy it.
Same thing with the behavioral code. Those violations are there to keep Mailgirl’s separate and distinct for the rest of the staff. They restrict how workers interact with me as much as I with them. I should treat them fairly and with proper respect because they are the profit generators for the company. I don’t have a job if they don’t perform, but they will continue to be employed if I’m working or not. It’s important for a Mailgirl to keep that in mind. They are the wheel. I am the grease. (Especially if I work up a good sweat that day. LOL.)
So for changes to the Mailgirl code? I don’t think we need them.
1) Be Prompt
2) Be Respectful
3) Be Hygienic
4) Be On Display
5) Be Yielding (I don’t have a problem with any of these.)
6) Be In Position <——–Bingo!
Can we get more positions? Currently if I’m not in motion I am standing “At ease” with feet shoulder width apart and hands behind my back; “Inspection” standing with feet three feet apart, hands behind my head, back arched and up on my toes; or “Kneeling” sitting on my feet with thighs shoulder width apart, back arched and hands either at my side or behind my back. That’s it. Anything else is a positional violation and if the wrong person is around I get a demerit for cracking my neck.
I’ve had days were I knelt so long my hips ached when I got home.
I have no problem being uncovered, respectful or yielding, that is the job and I’m a pro. But if I could just sit on my resting mat crisscross, or lay on my back with knees up, downward dog, something so I’m not punishing my body into the same positions constantly. One of my girls now is having a lot of problems with it. Her body will adjust in time but it is a long, painful struggle for it to get to that place.
I guess that would be my big change. This Mailgirl needs more positions, please!
Thanks for your question Anonymous! If you want to hear more thoughts or have your questions answered by a real Mailgirl go ahead and have them posted to the comments below. I’ll get to everyone in time. So be a little patient and keep them coming, and remember, health and efficiency matters!
To totally agree. Heath is important. Additionally I think a proper Yoga mat and Yoga should be allowed at all times when things are not busy. For heath and safety reasons, obviously!
Six – it is very pleasing to hear a Mailgirls opinion on the tenants of the code.
When those rules were first written, my intention was that they would serve as guiding principles – not just rules, but a guide on what rules could and should be set for you. It is gratifying to know that a Mailgirl bound by them still approves of them.
I see no reason why more positions could not be introduced as you wish – the original trinity of positions could and should be expanded.
Of course, I hope you are not implying total freedom to sit how you please. There are standards. … But an increased variety for you to pick from could be pleasing for Textiles, and reduce strain on the same areas for you… Your request is noted.
Asking for more positions sounds legitimate. But you are aware that these new positions are very likely to be chosen for the benefit of the people watching, not necessarily for the benefit of the mailgirls?
