Hope you enjoy the story so far, it does take some unexpected turns along the way.

Once I finished it, someone had suggested I work on building/maintaining tension in my story. I decided to delete the ending I originally wrote and came up with a more “tense” conclusion. I will warn you now, if you haven’t read the entire thing yet, this goes into a much darker story-line later on.

Everything seems to fit and work well, without retconing my original premise, but it does go to an unexpected place with Annie having to endure some dehumanizing treatment by the end of the story. I do hope people enjoy this journey, but if you aren’t expecting it, the last couple of chapters of this story can be a little shocking to the casual reader.

“She left, so I guess we should to.” I told him confused.

“But… what about your things?” He asked confused.

I like the setup. That was well done, how you handled that misunderstanding. 

“Suit yourself.” Craig said to me, but shot another glare at Scott letting him know that the threat was real.

The characters are interesting. They feel real.

Added Jimmy, “I’ve never seen her as confident as she is today. Keep it up!”

lol… this is a lot of fun.

“Just a minute.” Craig yelled back. Then to me he asked, “You think you can make it the rest of the day?”

I liked her answer. Looking forward to the rest!
