It was an early morning as Olivia stepped into the lab. The room was filled with humming machines, computers, and flickering lights. All for a larger machine in the center. “Professor, I’m back! They had the bagels you like!” The blonde shook a bag full of baked goods, allowing the aroma of coffee and honey to float through the air.
Nobody answered her back, however. She set the morning snacks near a notepad. A laptop and briefcase sat on a table. The professor was clearly there. Or at least, she was in the building.
“Professor?” Olivia scratched her head. She reached into her hoodie pouch and withdrew her phone. Eight Forty-Five. “Hmm,” she shrugged. “Guess she had to meet someone first.”
She took a glance around the lab. It was more machines than chemicals, with different cables bound with zip ties feeding into the ceiling. Many of them lead back to some kind of canon. Maybe a ray gun was more accurate. One could only guess so much two days into an internship.
The blonde took a look at the notes. The top words read “storage solution.”
Olivia raised an eyebrow. “…Like plastic bins?” She shrugged and sipped her own coffee. The notes went over a lot of technical details. A few made sense, others left her unsure. Either way, there was little to do but wait for the professor.
Some time passed as she sipped her coffee. She remained alone. “Guess I’ll check out what she was working on…” Olivia took a few steps toward a machine in the center of the room.
At the center was a long tube, which narrowed to a point, attached to a spaghetti pile of wires that hooked to computers and electrical outlets. One stray wire hung loose, diverting from the others and attached to nothing.
She approached, eyes fixating on the wire. “She missed one… looks like it goes here?” Oliva smiled. Maybe she should have waited for the professor, but it was one lonely wire separated from the bunch with an obvious destination. So, she took the wire and plugged it into its proper spot, giving a satisfying little “click.”
“There we go!” The machine powered up, lights appearing all over it. “Whoa…” The machine began to hum and vibrate, different parts rattling across it. “Uh oh…” Olivia put a hand over her mouth. She turned and began to run. A wire went somewhere it shouldn’t have, and something bad was going to happen.
There was a bright flash and Olivia felt an intense heat. She screamed and wrapped her arms over her head. Then, the vibrations in the room stopped. The humming died down. The heat lasted only for a second. Olivia opened her eyes looking at her hands. Everything was still there. She looked over her body. There was no sign of a burn or anything. Not even an odd smell.
A sigh rushed out of her. “I’m okay… I’m okay…” She took a moment to catch her breath. “Okay… not touching anything until the professor gets here…”
She moved away from the lifeless machine and back toward the table. There was a tightness around her chest. Probably the stress of what she thought was going to happen. Olivia withdrew her phone from her sweaters pouch and checked for messages. Still trembling, she swapped at a photo gallery, cycling through pictures of kittens.
Her frantic pulse turned calm and the adrenaline cooled, but that tight feeling remained. In fact, it spread. As if she was being squeezed from every direction. She wasn’t trembling anymore. Was she still nervous?
Her pulse picked up and her eyes widened. What if the machine did something? Getting in touch with the professor couldn’t wait. She cycled through her contacts and gasped. The squeeze around her body tightened. Olivia looked at herself.
The sweatshirt hugged every curve and almost clung like a second skin. It was loose and baggy earlier. Her leggings were practically sheer, revealing her creamy legs to the room. Her shoes almost strangled her feet, panging and gripping her ankles.
“What’s happening to me!?” Olivia cried.
It all happened at once. First, she felt a snap around her chest. Then a pop from underneath her leggings. Her shoes burst, splitting the laces and baring strained socks.
“Oh no… oh no… no no no, I’m becoming a giant!” Olivia shrieked.
A cacophony of ripping noises followed. Her leggings split at the seams and fell. Bright pink panties fluttered to the tile floor, revealing her intimates. Her shaven pussy, her perky bottom, her smooth thighs, and her ankles were clear and exposed. Then her sweater began to rip and tear itself apart. The thicker material took more abuse, but every fiber moaned in her ears before the material began to tear.
It split down the middle, opening like a jacket and letting her bra fall to the ground. Then it continued to shrink around her shoulders. They squeezed before bursting all the same.
As her clothes reduced themselves to useless scraps, Olivia wrapped her arms around herself. If she was going to be a giant, she’d burst through the ceiling.
Only… the ceiling didn’t seem closer. And nothing else in the room seemed smaller. As she stood there naked, she could do little but blush and wonder. She looked at her clothing on the floor. Her bra took the least damage, with the clasp failing. But it was smaller than before. It looked better suited to a doll.
Her eyes widened. “I’m not growing… my clothes are shrinking!” Olivia gasped. As the last few scraps fell from her body, she became completely naked. A red color took over her face. The blonde kept her arms over herself and ran for one of the closets in the lab. There had to be a spare coat. But each panel had spare parts and books.
“Lab coat… lab coat… come on professor, you have to have more…”
A shiver ran up her back. She let a hand pat around her naked backside but felt nothing. A horrifying thought ran through her head. What if SHE shrank!? Her heart hammered as she ran back to the table and took a breath.
“Okay… okay… if I shrink… I have to stay where the professor can find me…” She kept her hands in covering positions. The professor would be mad at her for messing with the equipment. And she would have to be entirely naked while explaining what happened. But she’d need her help if anything else happened.
Against better judgment, Olivia climbed the table and sat her naked backside on the cold, smooth surface. She kept covering as she sat next to the professor’s laptop. If the professor was the only person to see her this way, she could bear it. Olivia could only hope she was the only one at the lab today.
As she waited, Olivia would feel a cold shiver climb the back of her body. She wrapped her arms around herself and scooted closer to the professor’s possessions. Those same shivers kept running through her body. It would happen any second now. Then she remembered her phone, snatching it from the table behind her.
“Machine… went… crazy…” Olivia said as she typed. “I think I’m shrinking in the lab. Help!” She mashed send. “I’ll bevby toutblaptop,” her frantic fingers rushed. She set her phone down and felt her heart race. “Okay… okay… the professor will be here any second… And she’ll fix this…”
Some time passed. More shivers ran through her body. But the handle finally squeaked.
There stood a woman in a lab coat, long black hair tied in a ponytail. She took a careful glance at the room. She pulled a pair of goggles from her coat pocket, and put them on, with several lenses falling in place.
“Olivia?” the professor said. “Are you in here?” She glanced in every direction, before fixating on the floor in front of her. “Should have finished that hoverboard…”
Olivia sighed. “Professor, I’m right here… I don’t think I’ve shrunk yet!”
The professor’s head jerked. “Olivia? Where are you? Are you by the computer like you said in the message?”
“Y-yeah, I’m right here… um…” She blushed, as she remembered her total lack of cover. The professor would have to see that.
The professor gave a quizzical look toward Olivia. “…I don’t see you… are you sure you didn’t shrink yet?” She took slow steps into the interior of the lab. Then she saw the pile of ruined clothing. “My goodness! Olivia’s clothing!” She rushed to the room and looked at the torn fabric. She inspected the tears of each worthless scrap.
“…Olivia… you were so young..” The professor’s shoulders slacked.
“…Um… professor?” Olivia blinked. What was going on? She hopped down from the table. She approached with arms placed to protect her modesty.
“Am I going too far? Am I too fixated on whether or not I could?” The professor shook her head. “Olivia’s bright love of science is haunting me. How could I be so careless…” The professor shook her head.
“Uhhh… professor? Olivia to Professor Katherine, do you copy?” The blonde tilted her head and waved a hand in front of her.
“Olivia?” Katherine blinked and removed her goggles. “My goodness! Are you still here? Are you speaking from another dimension? Another universe?”
“Umm… I’m speaking from right in front of you,” Olivia said. “I thought it would be kind of hard to miss me.”
“Right in front of me…” The professor blinked, looking in Olivia’s direction, but not making eye contact. She extended a hand outward, waving until it bumped into something warm and soft. Katherine tilted her head, and let her hand continue to probe and feel. “This is peculiar…”
“Ah! H-hey! What are you doing!?” Olivia recoiled and wrapped her arms around her chest. Her face burned with blush.
The professor jumped. “O-Olivia, are you really there? I don’t see you… I swear I felt something but…” She looked at the machine and put a hand to her chin. “Wait… Olivia… what happened in here?”
She bit her lip and looked at the machine. “I saw a loose wire and plugged it in. Then it started making all these crazy sounds and blasted me. That’s when my cl-” she paused. “W-when weird stuff started to happen.”
Katherine tapped her chin. “It could be…” She suddenly turned and moved toward the table. The professor pulled a drawer open and withdrew a mirror. “Olivia, have a look at yourself!”
Olivia gave Katherine an odd look with an elevated eyebrow, but still took slow steps toward the table and took the mirror. A shiver ran up her back and her jaw fell. Nobody stared back. “Wait… am… am I invisible?”
“That seems to be the case, as I see a floating mirror.” The professor crossed her arms and nodded, baring a little smirk.
“Whoa… but why did it do that? I thought I was going to shrink.” Olivia set down the mirror and moved her arms back to modest positions. Katherine couldn’t see that she was naked, but with the cool laboratory air washing over her and making her shiver, she still felt very naked.
“More studying is needed, obviously, but your body is more complex than the clothing. So you had a different interaction when the beam hit.” The professor nodded and walked towards the machine and looked at the wires. “Do you know what this means?”
“Um…” Olivia glanced around the lab to ensure it was just the two of them. “It means I’m invisible instead for some reason?”
“It means that I… we, WE built something that works!” The professor cheered, balling her hands into fists and squealing as she looked over the machine. “We finally have an invention that does the thing I wanted it to do!”
“Umm… that’s great professor, it really is! But maybe should figure out how to fix thi-”
“Just imagine, Olivia! We can get military contract money for this! We can get new lab coats, enough sound dampening so I don’t have to hear the strange noise my car makes! Less student debt for BOTH of us!” She cheered.
Olivia stood stunned. “P-professor! That’s really great but we should try to fix me!”
“My goodness… Olivia, you’re right… we must fully understand how this technology works. It must be safe to use before we sell it.” She nodded and approached the machine, eyes wandering the instrument cluster. She pushed a few buttons, getting no response from anything. “Hmm… no power… it likely tripped the circuit breaker. The maintenance guy yells about that a lot.” The professor stroked her chin. “I’ll be right back!”
Katherine turned and walked out of the room, her shoes giving an audible “tap” with each step she took.
“O-okay,” Olivia took a breath and shook her head. She checked the mirror again and confirmed to herself that nobody was looking back. Then she used the selfie cam on her phone and again saw nobody on the screen. Just the laboratory itself. “Guess I’ll check for another coat while she does that…”
The blonde made her way to one of the cabinets in the back of the lab. She found some spare parts and other gizmos, a few wires, and some buttons. The next cabinet had different tools filling its shelves.
Her shoulders slacked. Once the professor made her visible, she’d see her little wardrobe mishap. Katherine had the pieces needed to put the idea together, but that didn’t mean she needed to see her completely naked.
The door squeaked and slowly opened.
“Guess I’ll just ask… hey professor where do-”
“I’m in the lab,” came a sudden voice.
Olivia turned and saw someone in the doorway. Head to toe, they were in a black tank top and a denim skirt. She gasped and ducked behind a table, putting a hand over her mouth. Who the heck was that?
“Yeah, this is the right one,” they said, with a hand on their ear. “I know I know, get in, grab it, get out.”
The voice… sounded light. Feminine. And familiar.
Olivia’s heart raced. She turned and looked toward the thief. The intruder had short crimson hair, a single earring, and a tattoo of crossed pitchforks on her shoulder. Of all the people to break in, it had to be none other than Sasha.
The blonde held her breath and ducked behind the table, peeking to observe Sasha.
“She might figure it out but she won’t do anything,” Sasha whispered back in the earpiece. “If it works, why stop? …Ah ha!” Sasha spotted the notebook and snatched it from the table. “Found it, alright, heading back!”
“H-hey you can’t take that!” Olivia squeaked.
Sasha clutched the notebook to her chest. Her eyes scanned every direction before she bolted for the door.
Olivia scrambled to her bare feet. “Come back here! You’re not getting away this time!” She pursued, sprinting the hallways. But Olivia’s bare feet slipped and slid, while Sasha’s tennis shoes maintained all the grip she needed. It wasn’t long before Sasha was out the door.
“My goodness, what is all the commotion?” Came the professor’s voice, stepping out into the hallway. “Olivia, did something happen? Where are you?”
Olivia’s shoulders slacked. She was too slow. “I’m… I’m right here professor. Someone broke into the lab and stole your notebook…”
“Really?” Katherine put a hand to her chin. “That’s bad… that’s worse than bad… that’s like, really bad. Maybe even more like really really bad…”
“Do you have any copies of it saved anywhere?” Olivia said, moving her arms to cradle her naked breasts.
“It’s a physical notebook, so I’m afraid not. And I’m going to need it to make you visible again,” Katherine frowned and shook her head.
“What!? Um… well… I know who she is… Sasha is kind of an old rival of mine…” Olivia sighed.
“Wonderful! In that case, go get the notebook back!” Katherine smiled.
“W-wait… really? But how am I going to sneak into her dorm?” Olivia trembled. She wasn’t the confrontational type. It was impossible to get free of her old bully’s reach somehow.
“Well, you’re still invisible, so that should be pretty simple!” Katherine nodded.
Olivia froze, before inspecting her palm. Or, at least she tried to. It was true, whatever happened may yet yield a benefit. One other problem remained. “But… um… Professor, I don’t know if you noticed, but um… errr…”
“Hmm?” The professor looked at her intern with an eyebrow raised. “Yes?”
“I… kinda… sorta…”
“Come now, out with it. The clock is ticking!”
Olivia sighed and closed her eyes. “I… kind of lost my clothes because of the machine… I’m… kinda naked…”
There was a pause. Olivia couldn’t look Katherine in the eye.
“…And?”
“….’ and’? What do you mean, ‘and’? I’m naked! I can’t just go to her dorm like this!”
“Why is that a problem? You’re invisible. It’s not like they can tell,” Katherine said, her face aimed in no particular direction. “At any rate, I need that notebook back. You’ll have an easier time getting it than I will,” the professor nodded.
Olivia’s shoulders slacked. The truth was heavy.
*****
“Okay… okay…” Olivia took a breath as she stared at the door. The professor needed that notebook. And despite the anchor of nervousness in her stomach, she had a good way to get it. “Just like the professor said… they can’t tell I’m naked… so… so it doesn’t matter.”
The naked girl put her hands on the door handle and gave a firm push. A rush of warm, summer air swept through the opening and glided over her skin. Feeling the air itself in places it couldn’t touch sent a shock through her. She somehow felt more naked than she already was. Impulsive hands moved to cover herself. Her legs wobbled as she took each step away from the safety of the lab. Embarrassment burned her cheeks and would be quite crimson if they were visible.
Outside. Naked. She was outside. Completely naked.
As she made her way to the sidewalk, Olivia froze. Her eyes widened as someone approached. Another woman was approaching, this one in some light athletic wear as she jogged. And the naked girl had no tree or bush within easy reach she could retreat to.
Olivia braced herself for the worst. The gasp, the stare, the feeling of eyes crawling all over her body. This terrible idea had already fallen apart.
The jogger passed.
Olivia’s heart panicked in her chest until she opened one eye. A short time later, the jogger turned a street corner. She put her hands on her knees, and blew out the breath she didn’t know she was holding.
“Right… invisible… she couldn’t see me…” Olivia panted. She pulled herself toward the dorm and silently gulped to herself. Things would be just fine. All she had to do was keep calm.
As Olivia approached the entrance to the dorm, she spotted a pair of girls, sitting on the grass with notebooks out. She’d have to pass them to get to the entrance.
“I’m invisible… I’m invisible,” Olivia repeated under her breath. She kept a slow approach, trying to ignore the knot in her stomach. But each blade of grass and each wave of wind compounded the fact that she wasn’t wearing a thing.
“So that’s why it works that way.”
“Oooooooh! That makes so much more sense!”
Olivia watched the two girls compare notes. She measured every step she took. “I’m invisible… I’m invisible…” Her mind looped.
“How do you get this so much quicker?”
“Oh, well there’s this channel, they do all kinds of vids. Here, let me send you a link.”
The two girls huddled near a phone, unaware of Olivia’s presence. They had no clue that a completely naked girl was just a few feet from where they sat.
Olivia ascended a few steps and entered the dorm building. The other two didn’t bat an eye.
“Phew,” the invisible girl wiped a little sweat off her forehead. If she avoided notice, she’d be okay. Now that she was in Sasha’s building, it was time to find her specific dorm.
Inside, there were long hallways and a number of doors. There was also a set of stairs to her right. Her toes curled over the carpet floor. She followed the hallway. “If it’s like mine… there should be a lounge…” She tip-toed, shivering as she felt cool air over her skin, reminding her of her unclothed state.
Despite knowing she was invisible, she was on edge. She didn’t know this dorm, and she was streaking it. Like it was some sort of sorority pledge. “It’s just a walk. It’s not that special. Just that I’m totally naked…” Olivia reminded herself, forcing her legs to make the simple mechanical movements needed to go forward.
Then she heard footsteps. Someone was approaching. A girl. She was a little short, wore a little green hoodie with a knee-length blue skirt. Her hair was a light shade of pink.
Olivia’s eyes widened and she held her breath. She didn’t see an alcove to sneak into. There was nowhere to hide. All she could do was cover herself.
The new girl in the hallway had her thumbs dancing on her phone, eyes fixated on the screen. “Starving… you want to… get some lunch?” She said as she typed.
Olivia shut her eyes. “She can’t see me… she can’t see me… she can’t see me…”
Then she felt a bump.
“Oof!” The girl gasped, feeling her face press into something warm and soft.
Olivia felt something firm press against her ample chest. Then there was a thud as a phone tumbled. “Gah!” she gasped, shielding her chest. “W-watch where you’re going!”
“Whoa!” The girl flailed her arms as her balance failed. She was going to fall!
The invisible girl gasped and gripped the girl’s wrists. “I got you!” she pulled, bringing the wobbling girl upright.
She shook her head. “Whoa… what was… what the heck happened?” The girl blinked and looked in every direction. “Is someone there?”
Olivia sighed and moved for the wall. She watched as the girl aimlessly looked for her savior.
The girl turned and looked behind her. Then she rubbed a hand against her face. “I swear it felt like…”
The invisible girl felt her cheeks burn as she wrapped her arms around her chest, squeezing her breasts. She could still imagine the girl’s face in them. Oliva was ultimately glad this girl didn’t get hurt because of her… but to do it that way?
“I swear I felt it…” The girl shook her head, waving her arm around at nothing.
Olivia’s eyes widened, and she took a few steps away. Was this girl on to her? Were they about to find her again? After the favor she did for her too? She’d ask for help if it didn’t blow her cover.
Olivia snapped her fingers. “That’s it!”
The girl bolted her head in Olivia’s direction. She began to shiver and back up toward the wall. “W-who’s there? This is freaky!”
“Relax, I’m not going to… I mean…” Olivia cleared her throat. “Dooooon’t feaaaaaar meee…”
The color drained from the girl’s face. “A-a-a g-g-g-ghost!?”
“Yesss,” Olivia exaggerated, waving her arms for effect. Well, maybe it was more for herself. This girl couldn’t see any of Olivia’s haunted movements. “Do not feaaaar. Tell me one thing and I’ll leave you beeee!”
“W-what do you w-want?” The girl trembled like a leaf. Somehow her eyes were fixed on Olivia’s location.
“Tell me which room belongs to Saaaashaaa…”
“T-t-two fifteen!” The girl lifted a shaking hand. She pointed down the dimly lit hallway. “S-she’s in that one… p-please don’t hurt me, spirit!”
“That’s all I neeeeeded…” Olivia woo’d. “I’m a ghost of my wooooorrrrrrd… you may gooooo…” She said, taking steps in the direction the girl pointed. The girl scrambled, running down the hallway to the exit.
After the girl turned the corner, Olivia giggled. The ghost thing worked quite well. Maybe she’d find a way to set things right with her later. That girl seemed like she was going to shake herself to pieces.
Olivia turned and began moving down the hallway, and up a set of stairs. She read the numbers of each room as she progressed. Her heart fluttered, and a dash of pink still decorated her cheeks, but that heavy knot in her stomach loosened. Her arms continued to guard her chest, but with a looser grip.
It wasn’t long before she spotted door 215. Sasha’s dorm. And much to her surprise, someone left the door open a crack. She held her breath and tugged the door as she slipped inside.
“Copying it is going to take all night,” Sasha held the notebook in one hand and her phone in the other. “But yeah I got it… I think someone knew I was there but that’s it.” She placed the notebook next to a laptop. “It’s all handwritten stuff, but I’ll take pictures…”
Olivia held her breath and tiptoed to the far corner of the room. Sasha had no idea she was there, but she had the notebook in hand. All she needed was a distraction. A way to get it back.
“You know, funny thing, someone I know was interning there…” Sasha continued. “…Oh no, not at all. I ruled that high school. Always had to put her in her place. So yeah, I’m keeping that going.”
Olivia narrowed her eyebrows and grit her teeth. She could tackle her, she’d never see it coming. And yet, another possibility presented itself. The invisible girl measured her steps toward the doorway and raised her fist.
Knock knock.
“Hmm?” Sasha turned. “I’ll call you back,” she pressed a button and set the phone and notebook down. “Hello?” Sasha moved toward the door. She stuck her head out into the hallway, looking both ways.
Then she felt pressure on her back. A quick shove and a door slam later, and she was out in the hallway. “Whoa… what the hell!?” Sasha gripped the doorknob and met resistance.
Olivia giggled. It was all too easy. She listened as Sasha wrestled the door and even pounded on it. One “damn it” later, and the struggle stopped.
The invisible girl saw the notebook, undamaged and shut. She could grab it and leave. And yet, there was an opportunity. Something she would have left behind had Sasha not been so fond of gossip.
She opened the window and moved for her dresser. “Heh heh… time for a liiiiitle payback, Sasha!” Olivia grinned. With only so much time to waste, she began to pull all of Sasha’s clothes from the drawer. Every sock, shirt, skirt, and pair of pants joined a pile on the bed. She folded the blanket, using it as a makeshift bag to hold all the clothing. The messy clump spilled out the window to the bushes below.
Two drawers remained, and when Olivia saw their contents, an evil grin appeared on her face. The bras went first, and they fumbled out the window and got caught in the bushes below. A few students gave confused looks at the bushes as it rained clothing.
Last but certainly not least, Olivia scooped all the panties in her arms, from the cute and frilly to the form-fitting athletic kind, and even a few thongs. She bent her knees and put more force behind the throw, sending a mess of colorful underwear out to the bushes below. One pair remained on the ground by her feet. She plucked it from the ground and hooked it onto her thumb and fingers. One firm pull, and the final garment snapped from her thump, bolting its way outside.
“Ha ha haa! Oh my God, that feels good!” Olivia smirked. She crossed her arms and looked at herself in the mirror. She couldn’t but smile at the girl in the mirror, knowing she just got revenge against her bully for years. Only, her face fell a second later.
She could SEE the girl in the mirror.
Olivia looked at her hands, seeing them fade into view. Her invisibility was wearing off! “Oh no! Oh no no no! Crap!” Blush surged onto her face. She pulled the drawers open. There had to be something she could wear. Something she missed. Her knees buckled as she knew how thorough she was.
The blonde turned to the bathroom and ran for it. Inside, there was no shower. And there was only one hand towel sitting on the countertop. Olivia glanced around before snatching the towel and holding it over her breasts. Then she went back to Sasha’s desk and snatched the notebook and held that in front of her hips.
“I can’t believe this is happening… I gotta get out!” Olivia turned the doorknob and looked in the hallway. For the moment, the coast was clear. She took off, face red and barely covered. The blonde was obviously naked, and without her invisibility, she felt even more naked than before.
“Yeah, I don’t know what happened… I heard a knock and then it was like someone shoved me out!” came a familiar voice.
Olivia skidded to a halt, turned, and began running the other way. If she were caught, she’d be in far more trouble than simple embarrassment. All she could do was run, run, and hope that nobody would see her naked run.
She turned the corner and panted. Sasha was back, likely with a landlord. Somehow she’d have to dodge two people. A female voice shrieked, causing Olivia to jump.
“WHERE’S ALL MY STUFF!?”
Olivia couldn’t help but bite her lip and giggle. Even if she didn’t get out of this, at least she got some revenge.
“This can’t be happening? Who took my stuff!?”
Olivia wanted to kick the ground. If her invisibility had lasted longer, she could have watched Sasha crumble. Instead, she sighed and kept moving.
That was when a door squeaked open, and a shivering girl peeked her head out. “W-what’s going on?” She turned her head towards Olivia, making eye contact with the girl.
Red surged to Olivia’s face, as she squeezed the mini towel against her breasts and kept the notebook covering between her thighs. “U-um… uh… d-don’t mind me! Just… doing a dare!” Olivia faked a giggle as her entire face turned red.
“A dare?” The girl looked down the hallway. “You can’t do dares! There’s a ghost running around!! I felt it!”
Olivia blinked. She thought this girl looked familiar. The light pink hair made it pretty obvious. “A ghost? There’s no… ah!” The shorter girl grabbed Olivia’s wrist and pulled her into the dorm. She barely held onto the towel, but it let her breasts slip into freedom. Her opposite arm flailed from the sudden grab, baring her sex.
“You’ll be safe in here!” The shorter girl said, pulling her in and shutting the door.
“B-but I can’t just…” Olivia blushed and moved her arms back to covering positions. One breast stayed uncovered with the towel dangling over her wrist. If nothing else, Olivia was safe, but she was still naked with another girl.
“I know who the ghost was looking for…” the girl said, locking the door. “It sounds like it got her too!”
Olivia could think of little to do but cover-up. How could she explain there was no ghost? That she was invisible earlier? Instead, she took a breath.
“W-wow, really?” Olivia shivered. “U-um… if there’s a ghost running around, do you mind if I borrow something?”
“Umm…” The girl looked at Olivia for a moment, and an intense blush rushed over her face. She glanced at her own figure, which was more petite in every measurement. “You can try… but I don’t know if it’ll fit so good… wait… what about your dare? Are you gonna be in trouble if you don’t finish?”
“O-oh no! No this was… um… a self-imposed dare!” Olivia said. “I can… do it later!”
The girl blinked. “…You mean you’re a streaker?”
Olivia could have kicked herself. A college streak would be easier to explain, even though Olivia would have never considered doing something like that. It was merely the only lie that would make sense.
“Well, I err… I was just trying it out. Don’t know if I’d call myself a real streaker, heh heh…” Olivia rubbed the back of her head. “If there’s a ghost running around… maybe I should chicken out, you know?” She stood there, with a little hand towel and a notebook, barely covering any of her naked body.
“Of course you should!” The girl put her hands over her mouth. “That ghost seems to want to punish bad people!” she shivered. “Like that girl that screamed, her name’s Sasha. She pushes everyone around!”
“Well…we’re probably safe. I mean, I’m not a bad person… and you helped me, so you can’t be bad, right?” Olivia said, unaware that a fold of her towel slipped out of place, baring a nipple. “So uh… if it’s not too much trouble… could I borrow something?”
“You can try,” the girl said, her eyes lingering on a nipple. She blushed and turned to her dresser.
*****
Olivia slammed the front door of the laboratory shut and sighed. Safe at last with the notebook in hand. The blush never faded, and her breathing labored. One hand moved to sort her hair, as every little fiber of her borrowed clothing squeezed and groaned. Her new friend Sophie had a smaller figure in almost every measurement imaginable. Despite having the strained, white t-shirt, she kept an arm over her chest. Her nipples fought any attempt at subtly, pressing hard against the fabric.
The borrowed denim shorts barely reached her thighs. They squeezed her hips. Both pieces felt far removed from proper cover. But at the very least, it was better than baring her behind.
And against all odds, Olivia giggled. The memory of all those students plundering Sasha’s clothes made her smile. And that raptor scream she did when she saw what happened to her underwear? Priceless.
She measured each step, feeling like her ill-fitting outfit would burst to scraps like her original clothing.
“Professor, I’m back! I got the notebook!” Olivia said. “The invisibility just kind of wore off!”
Katherine popped her head out from behind a panel. “Did it now?” She lifted her goggles. “My goodness… you certainly are!” She approached and saw the notebook. “I hope it at least held long enough to keep you out of trouble?”
“Well… sort of… But-”
“Excellent!” Katherine cheered, snatching the notebook from Olivia’s hands. She skimmed the pages and nodded. “Fine work, Olivia! We can perfect the machine!” The professor glanced over her clothing and returned to eye contact. “I think with a few adjustments, I can make your clothing fit a little better!”
Olivia blushed and used both arms to cover her chest. “Well… thanks but I think I’ve had enough experiments for one day, professor. I think I’d rather just go home and rest.”
Katherine frowned, her shoulders slacking. “Really? Well… I suppose I can’t blame you.” She smiled and went back to the open panel. “Should you change your mind, I’ll be right here!”
