Here at The Storyboard, writers and readers share and discuss stories that I call “naked fiction.” I didn’t coin the term. I first read it on A D Rowen’s website. And he did a wonderful job explaining what naked fiction means to him.
And I like the description of the hashtag #naked #fiction on twitter, so I thought it would be the perfect descriptor for the type of stories this site hosts.
Naked Fiction is a broad category of content and can mean many things to many people. But it is content primarily focused on separating characters from their clothes for any number of reasons. Naked Fiction is usually broken into categories. For example, some of the common acronyms include:
OON – Only One Naked
NIP – Nude in Public
CMNF – Clothed Male, Naked Female
CFNM – Clothed Female, Naked Male
CFNF – Clothed Female, Naked Female
ENF – Embarrassed Nude Female

Here are some of the common sub-genres of Naked Fiction you can expect to find on The Storyboard.
BDSM
Light and dark Sub/Domme elements are at play, and or subplots that involve bondage and servitude. These characters can have more than just their clothes stripped from them, their name, identity, and dignity are also fair game.
Example of a suitable story line: A woman wearing nothing but a dog collar and leash gets led around town by her master.

Blackmail/Coercion
Blackmail or coercion is used to exploit a character out of their clothes.
Example of a suitable story line: A woman is caught embezzling funds and her boss gives her an ultimatum; lose her clothes or lose her job.

Games, Bets, Dares, and Agreements
A character gets naked or exposed as a condition of an agreement, usually something playful or lighthearted, like a friendly dare or lost bet, but also contractual agreements.
Example of a suitable story line: A woman goes skinny dipping in front of her friends after losing all of her clothes in a game of strip poker.

Embarrassment- Humiliation
The embarrassment or humiliation of a naked, compromised, and or vulnerable character is the main appeal. Classic ENF.
Example of a suitable story line: A woman blushes bright red and fights back tears after a wardrobe malfunction leaves her naked in front of a crowd at the airport.

Forced Exposure
Nudity or public exposure is enforced on a character, usually through force, punishment, threats, and or fantasy elements.
Example of a suitable story line: A suspected thief is strip searched by security and forced to march handcuffed and nude through a crowded shopping mall.

Positive Naked Feelings
Whereas ENF focuses on the embarrassment and humiliation of a naked person, PNF focuses on the various good feelings (confidence, empowerment, excitement, etc) that a naked person can experience. There may be reluctance or light embarrassment but the experience is ultimately enjoyable.
Example of a suitable story line: A naturist dresses in nothing but body paint at a Halloween party and struts confidently around naked all night.
